Avery Dennison moves to a modern distribution centre built for sustainability

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

✦ Global materials science company Avery Dennison has moved its office and warehouse to a newer and larger facility in Moorabbin, Victoria.

The facility has a 152kW solar system installed on-site, a rainwater collection system for reuse in toilets and irrigation, and LED lighting throughout the office and warehouse. Additionally, during the construction of the distribution centre, low volatile organic compounds (VOC) paint, carpets and sealants were used.

“Our new distribution centre in Melbourne demonstrates our commitment to creating a more sustainable world,” said Jordan Leach, Business Director, Graphics Solutions, Australia and New Zealand and ASEAN, Avery Dennison.

“This facility is not only built to empower us to be more responsive to changing customer needs, but it is also purpose-built for sustainability. As we grow, we shall continue to be a force for good to our industry, stakeholders, and local communities.”

Several key operational and business functions including Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, Laboratory, and Warehousing are located in this distribution centre.
