✦ Port Macquarie and surrounds are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring at The Lost Plot Community Garden's annual Spring fair on Saturday 19 September, with a day of food, live music, family activities and community fun.
Running from 9am to 2pm at The Lost Plot Community Garden on Central Road, Port Macquarie, the Spring Fair is a free, family-friendly event bringing together garden members, volunteers and the wider community.
Visitors can wander through the community garden, browse plants and fresh produce for sale, and enjoy wood-fired pizza, a BBQ, homemade cakes and treats and refreshing mocktails, along with a variety of stalls and other offerings throughout the day.
There will also be live music and entertainment, children's activities, face painting and raffles, making it an easy day out for visitors of all ages.
The Spring Fair is The Lost Plot's major fundraising event of the year, with proceeds going directly back into the volunteer-run community garden.
Funds raised help support the garden throughout the year, including the purchase of seedlings, plants and garden materials, as well as community activities, workshops and events.
The Lost Plot Community Garden is a place for people to connect, learn, grow food and share knowledge, with volunteers and members helping to maintain and develop the garden throughout the year.
Whether you're a keen gardener, looking for a family outing, coming for the live music or simply following the smell of wood-fired pizza, everyone is welcome to come along and experience The Lost Plot.
