  • The Fascination Behind Collectibles: A Journey of Passion and Nostalgia

✦ In a world that often feels transient and fast-paced, there's something undeniably alluring about the concept of collectibles. Join us for a Collectibles Shopping Tour These cherished items, whether they be vintage vinyl records, tea sets, limited-edition comic books, or rare action figures, hold a special place in the hearts of collectors around the globe. But what is it exactly that drives people to invest their time, money, and emotions into amassing these treasures? Nostalgia and Identity: Connecting Past and Present through Collectibles For many collectors, the allure lies in the thrill of the hunt. Whether scouring flea markets, combing through antique shops like Port Pickers, or bidding feverishly at auctions, the search for that elusive piece to add to their collection becomes a passionate pursuit. Each acquisition represents not just an item, but a triumph of dedication and perseverance. Yet, beyond the thrill of acquisition, collectibles hold a deeper significance for their owners. They serve as tangible connections to the past, linking us to moments, memories, and cultures that may have long since faded away. A vintage toy may evoke memories of childhood innocence, while a rare postage stamp may transport us to distant lands and bygone eras. Moreover, collectibles often carry with them a sense of nostalgia, tapping into a longing for simpler times and cherished moments of the past. In a world where technology and innovation dominate, there's a comforting familiarity in the tangible nature of collectibles, a reminder of a time when things were simpler, slower, and perhaps more meaningful. But beyond nostalgia, collectibles also hold considerable intrinsic value. Whether due to their rarity, historical significance, or cultural importance, certain items can command substantial prices on the collectors' market. For some, the allure of potential financial gain adds an extra layer of excitement to the hobby, transforming it into a form of investment as well as a source of pleasure. Furthermore, collectibles often serve as tangible expressions of identity and personal taste. Just as an art connoisseur might curate a gallery of paintings that speak to their aesthetic sensibilities, collectors carefully assemble their collections to reflect their passions, interests, and values. Each item chosen becomes a reflection of the collector's unique personality and worldview, a testament to their individuality and creativity. In addition to personal enjoyment, many collectors also derive a sense of community and camaraderie from their hobby. Whether attending conventions, joining online forums, or participating in local meetups, collectors often form bonds with like-minded individuals who share their passion. These communities provide opportunities for networking, learning, and sharing experiences, enriching the overall collecting experience. Moreover, the act of collecting itself can be deeply therapeutic for many individuals. In a world fraught with stress and uncertainty, the focused attention required to build and maintain a collection can provide a welcome respite from the chaos of everyday life. The sense of purpose and accomplishment that comes from cultivating a collection can boost self-esteem and foster a sense of fulfilment. Ultimately, the appeal of collectibles lies in their ability to transcend the ordinary and transport us to realms of imagination, nostalgia, and wonder. Whether driven by passion, nostalgia, or the thrill of discovery, collectors around the world continue to be drawn to these cherished treasures, finding joy, meaning, and connection in the pursuit of the perfect piece to add to their collection. • It’s Time To Get Wet at Thailand's Songkran Festival!

✦ Put on your swimmers and grab your water pistols as Songkran is here! New Year is always a special occasion – out with the old, in with the new, new resolutions and a fresh start ahead, and so on. While most Aussies will associate the occasion with fireworks and the popping of champagne corks, in Thailand things are a little different – and a whole lot wetter! The New Year period in Thailand takes place between April 13-15 each year and is known as Songkran, a word derived from the Sanskrit language that literally means ‘to move’ or ‘movement’ in relation to the zodiac calendar. The Songkran Festival is a time to celebrate culture, heritage, and new beginnings in the Land of Smiles and water plays a big, big role in proceedings. Water, water everywhere Coming shortly after the intense heat of a Thai summer, Songkran is a time when the country moves into its rainy period. It therefore comes as no great surprise to learn that water is a key component; symbolic of the imminent rains, it is also used to represent cleansing, reverence, and good fortune. The pouring of water is an act of special significance from a religious perspective during this time, typically done to bathe important statues and images of Buddha, while elder family members are also playfully splashed with water to encourage good health and long life. While the traditional dynamic of water in this respect maintains its significance, over recent decades it has evolved to adopt a broader guise. In fact, water play and splashing have become extremely popular over the years and today are arguably the most identifiable aspects of the occasion. During the Songkran Festival, you will see people taking to the streets throughout the length and breadth of the country to splash and engage in playful water fights – water pistols and shooters are literally everywhere, as are buckets and containers, constantly filled to the brim to enable the splashing of friends, neighbours, and tourists. Seeing pick-up trucks and similar vehicles driving around local neighbourhoods loaded with water tanks and spraying water at all and sundry is a common sight. Getting drenched is what it is all about! Attracting global interest The popularity of the water play has seen the annual festival attract global interest, with many people specifically visiting during the period to indulge in the fun and games. In busy, popular cities such as the capital Bangkok, and the tourist mecca Phuket, main roads will be entirely closed during the period and a wide variety of live performances, parades, and shows will be organised to showcase the country’s rich culture and history. In 2023 UNESCO added Songkran to its Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list. This year’s festivities come at a rather sensitive time as the threat of water shortages throughout the country looms – certain parts of the country, such as Phuket, have not seen rainfall of any significance for over five months, depleting reservoirs and reserves leaving local residents nervous that supplies may be cut off. While one netizen took to social media to jokingly suggest it might be time to consider showering with a friend, in all seriousness the situation is precarious. How to enjoy Songkran Still, the fun will proceed regardless as gallons upon gallons of H2O are spilled, splashed, shot, and thrown throughout the holiday period. Having experienced many Songkrans myself personally, I can state categorically that it is fantastic fun and impossible not to enjoy! Leave any valuable belongings at home, don your swimmers and goggles with an open mind, and be prepared to get VERY wet and you will no doubt have a blast of a time! It seems rare these days that an eclectic group of people can convene via a cultural occasion and experience so much fun through such an innocent act as water play, although it is one that is both welcome and unique and should be on everyone’s bucket list.❋ Brilliant-Online Magazine: where intelligence finds its voice Welcome to Brilliant Online Magazine, the digital publication where intellect meets inspiration delivering thought-provoking content to readers of the gig economy. • On Ninja Turtle watch at Reptile Expo 2024

✦ Remember Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo from the 1980’s hit cartoon TV show ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?’ Two little turtles with the same names as those famous crimefighters are on their way to Port Macquarie! 🐢 Many folks in the NSW Mid North Coast area will be familiar with the name Reptile Solutions and the husband and wife team behind it, Stuart and Alicia Johnson. The couple have been the momentum behind a drive to raise wildlife conservation awareness in the local area for many years now, winning plaudits for their innovative variety of shows, displays and exhibits while displaying a unique ability to engage thousands of people, especially young school children, and make wildlife conservation education fun and inclusive. In 2022 these efforts were recognised as they deservedly won the Highly Commended Tourism Award at the Wauchope and Hinterland Business Awards. Recently Stuart acquired a pair of Critically Endangered Bellinger Snapping River Turtles (Myuchelys georgesi) which he named Donatello and Rafael. He is working on acquiring a second pair, so hopefully they will be joining us soon this year. The turtles have been acquired from a turtle breeder who has successfully bred the species, separate to the Taronga Zoo's breeding programme. Donatello and Rafael are being cared for and reared at Reptile Solutions HQ and will showcased at the upcoming Reptile Expo 2024, taking place at Panthers Auditorium in Port Macquarie between 10am and 3pm on April 27. Endangered Species While turtles of the fresh and seawater variety have inhabited the earth since the Triassic Period, estimated to be over 230 million years ago, they have been ravaged over the past couple of centuries and are coming under an increasing threat from a variety of things that severely threaten their numbers and has seen them placed on the endangered species list. Out in the oceans of the world, turtles are having to contend with man-made pollution, damage to their natural habitat and environment, and discarded fishing nets and equipment, the latter of which, also known as ‘bycatch,’ posing a particularly serious hazard. Over the years they have also been subjected to extensive hunting by humans who poached the creatures for their eggs, meat, skin, and shells. Similarly, climate change is an issue, specifically the impact on sea and sand temperatures and the detrimental effects this can have on the sex of hatchlings. Those who tend to stay on land in freshwater also face a myriad of threats, mainly from humans and their continued expansion into the natural habitat. In regards to the former, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) says, “Nearly all species of sea turtle are now classified as endangered, with three of the seven existing species being critically endangered.” This is why the recent work being done by Stuart and his colleagues is not only admirable but crucially important. As the old saying goes, “You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone” - not something we want to be saying in regards to these majestic sea creatures. Similar local, not-for-profit organisations undertaking conservation work include Turtle Rescues New South Wales and Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary Rescue, which provide educational programmes for visitors and rehabilitation and release programmes for the turtles. There are still turtles of both the freshwater and seawater variety to be found in most parts of Australia although their numbers are dwindling, with many being named on the endangered species list. Specifically in the local area, there was a special celebration when an incredibly rare loggerhead turtle came ashore last December to lay her eggs, in what was believed to be the first such instance of the season. It led to Minister for Climate Change and the Environment Penny Sharpe declaring, “It’s wonderful to see endangered loggerhead turtles return to NSW beaches to lay their eggs. As an endangered species, every single egg is precious and represents hope for this species.” However, we then had the sad recent news that a heavy storm washed a turtle nest away at Corindi near Coffs Harbour to provide a sobering clarity of balance. Two natively unique species found only on the Mid North Coast are the Bellinger River Turtle and the Manning River Turtle. Both are endangered, especially the Bellinger Turtle. It is one of, if not the most, endangered species on the Mid North Coast right now, and one of the most endangered turtle species in Australia. It was estimated that the wild population number was less than 200 prior to the recent successful release of 97 captive bred turtles into the Bellinger River by Taronga Zoo. Blessing In Disguise Further afield there have been encouraging signs, even in locations one wouldn’t typically suspect. In the tourist mecca of Phuket, Thailand, and the nearby area of Phang Nga, the number of sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs over recent years has increased considerably. The number of female leatherback turtles choosing the pristine sands on the Andaman Coast to build their nests and lay their eggs has reached into double figures in the past three months alone, which is hugely impressive and encouraging. Such cases have generally all occurred in the north-western area of the island, which is usually a lot quieter than the more popular, vibrant spots further south. However, bucking this trend and delighting officials was the news in January that an olive ridley sea turtle had laid her eggs at Karon Beach in the island’s south for the first time in over a decade. Attentive wildlife officials are on hand to carefully observe and oversee each case, delicately relocating any nests that are in precarious spots and prone to being washed away by the tide, while regular release sessions back into the ocean are being witnessed on the island. Experts state that COVID-19 is the reason for such increased activity and why the numbers of sea turtle hatchlings have rebounded in the past few years. What was regarded as a genuine bane to most of us was, ironically, a blessing in disguise for much of the natural world and the wildlife that inhabits it. After all, we all need a time out and a chance to regenerate occasionally. While this is undoubtedly positive, humanity seems to be reverting to its destruction type now the face masks have been put away and the social distancing scrapped. It is something that creates a precarious balance, likewise a critical emphasis on conservation, something that Stuart from Reptile Solutions is fully aware of. It is why he is incorporating turtle conservation efforts and showcasing his pair of Donatello and Raphael at the upcoming Reptile Expo 2024. Owing to devastating floods, fires, and COVID, it is the first time the event has been held in four years, meaning all the more reason to get yourself and your family along for a fun-packed and informative day! See you at the Expo! ❋ Photo Credit: Skye Davis Brilliant-Online Magazine: where intelligence finds its voice Welcome to Brilliant Online Magazine, the digital publication where intellect meets inspiration delivering thought-provoking content to readers of the gig economy. • Venture Minerals Limited (ASX: VMS) brings an update on their Jupiter REE Deposit

✦ Andrew Radonjic and Mel Ashton from Venture Minerals go on-site with Noel Ong of Samso to share with audiences why the Jupiter Rare Earth project is all about location and accessibility. Managing Director, Andrew Radonjic and the Chair, Mel Ashton share their thoughts on the first round of results released on 9th February 2024 announcement and the record drill intersection (see below). Venture Minerals Limited (ASX: VMS) is now finalising a drilling program to infill the Jupiter project as they work to build a maiden JORC resource for the project. Management is also going on-site to see for themselves the ease of having a potential mining proposition. This is a reinforcement to investors and shareholders that the potential for a mining operation will come with Tier 1 infrastructure and potential partners or off-takers. Why focus on the Jupiter REE project? To understand why this project is generating so much excitement, read their other ASX announcements here: 29th November 2023 (Jupiter Delivers over 7,000 ppm TREO assays from Maiden RC Drill Program) 8th March 2024 (Jupiter Drilling Continues to Deliver Broad High-Grade REE Mineralisation including a Record NdPr Intersection of over 5,000 ppm) Jupiter is shaping up to be something different to the family of clay Rare Earth stories in Australia. Venture has been able to show up with good width of mineralisation, grades that are above the norm and its location for the mining process may well be a determining advantage. The share price has been very buoyant and when taken into context of the Rare Earth sector in general, Venture Minerals is doing very well. There is a keen interest in the market to see where this story will end up. This episode continues to share more insights into the project and why the management of Venture Minerals all all looking forward to move this project forward. The highway is within 20km from the edge of the Jupiter Rare Earths Deposit, and there is a gas pipeline that is within the boundaries of the project. As Andrew reiterates these points and as Venture approaches the narrative of taking the project to the next step of potential mining, this will be an interesting story to follow. Investors, time to DYOR. ❋ About Venture Minerals Limited Venture Minerals Ltd (ASX: VMS) has made a recent discovery at the Brothers REE Project including the Jupiter Clay Hosted Rare Earths Prospect. The Brothers Project includes the Iron Duke JV which hosts the Jupiter Prospect and is a potentially significant REE clay hosted discovery near Yalgoo in Western Australia. Brothers is well located to significant infrastructure including the port of Geraldton, Iluka’s Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery and Lynas Rare Earths currently operating Mount Weld Concentrator. The Mount Lindsay Tin-Tungsten Project in northwest Tasmania, already one of the world’s largest undeveloped Tin-Tungsten deposits. With the recognition of Tin as a fundamental metal to the battery revolution and Tungsten being a critical mineral, Venture has commenced an Underground Feasibility Study on Mount Lindsay that will leverage off the previously completed open-pit feasibility work, and recently included additional, potential large-scale quantities of tin and boron within the current resource base, and extensively throughout the greater Mount Lindsay skarn system. The tin-borates have not previously been assessed in any mining studies. Borate minerals contain a large amount of Boron, a critical mineral in the solar panel industry. At the neighbouring Riley Iron Ore Mine, the mine is prepared for a quick restart should the market conditions become favourable. In Western Australia, Chalice Mining (ASX: CHN) recently committed to the second stage of the JV which requires a further $2.5 million of expenditure over the next two years to earn a further 19% interest (for a total of 70%) in Venture’s South West Project. At the Company’s Golden Grove North Project, SensOre (ASX: S3N) (name changed to Premier1 Lithium ASX: PLC) is farming in whilst Venture retains the REE rights, the earn-in includes drilling of the Vulcan High Grade REE Target. SensOre’s proprietary AI technology has already highlighted lithium and copper exploration potential at Golden Grove North. The Company has a significant Nickel-Copper-PGE landholding at Kulin with two highly prospective 20-kilometre-long Ni-Cu-PGE targets within the Kulin Project, whilst recent exploration has identified clay hosted REE targets. • Tea Leaf Reading: Sip, Swirl and See!

✦ What about something quirky and fun to do on National Tea Day? Try tea leaf reading! While you are enjoying an aromatic brew, why not take the chance to take a peek into your future too? Tasseography is a journey into the unknown Tea leaf reading is also known as tasseography, and it can be done with tea leaves, or even coffee grounds if you are more inclined that way. • Confronting the ‘C Word’

✦ The recent announcement by Kate Middleton that she has cancer was both genuinely shocking news and a sobering warning to us all. While the ripple effect the news created was experienced on a global scale, it was arguably only once the shock had been partially digested that a broader concern took hold – if it can happen to The Princess of Wales, a fit and healthy 42-year-old mother of three and a member of the seemingly impregnable British Royal Family, then it can happen to anyone. Kate underwent planned abdominal surgery on January 16th, a routine procedure that Kensington Palace said would keep her in hospital for two weeks and away from public-facing duties until after Easter. However, following her successful surgery and release from hospital care, post-operative tests revealed that cancer had been detected, leading to Kate undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy in late February. While rumours abounded, Kate then made the announcement public via video on March 22nd , without revealing specifics, including the type of cancer. “This of course came as a huge shock,” she said of receiving the news, “and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.” No official announcement has been made on the type of cancer or what stage it is at, similarly no timelines have been attributed to Kate’s chemotherapy treatment and anticipated recovery. As the well wishes continue to flood in from far and wide, the primary focus now is on making a full and speedy recovery. While the British Royal Family of recent times has very much taken on the guise of a weekly TV soap opera, Kate, husband Prince William and their young family have been widely perceived as a bastion of secure normality. Kate is the ‘girl next door’ who went on to become a favourite at the heart of the Royal Family, someone that most folks could associate and sympathise with. This is why her announcement hit so hard for so many. Celebrities are not superheroes, of course, although they are often pereceived as being all but impervious to sickness or health concerns, as absurd as that notion may be. Of course, Kate’s news came just a month after King Charles III revealed he was being treated for his own unspecified cancer diagnosis. No Discrimination Kate’s predicament is therefore a reminder and lesson to us all that cancer does not discriminate; social status, class, race, religion, nationality, sexual preference, levels of fitness mean absolutely nothing to cancer. Kate’s age is also telling as traditionally cancer was generally believed to strike those over 50 years old – at 42 Kate is high-profile proof that the age dynamic has shifted in regards to cancer, a trend that has been worryingly consistent for several decades now. Indeed, a recent oncology study conducted by the British Medical Journal revealed a 79% increase in early-onset cancer in individuals under 50 years of age between 1990 and 2019, with significant rises in breast and colorectal cancers specifically. While there is no hardline evidence to explain these statistics, poor diet choices including low fibre intake and a preference for high fat, deep-fried, processed foods and sugary drinks were deemed a significant risk factor. Similarly, an increase in alcohol consumption is considered a contributory factor, as are increased toxins and pollution in our environment. The same study also noted that “in low to middle-income countries, early onset cancer had a much greater impact on women than on men, in terms of both deaths and subsequent poor health.” The Australian Institute for Health and Welfare explains in a recent study that in the past 23 years the number of patients diagnosed with cancer in Australia has risen by a staggering 88%, or from approximately 88,000 cases in 2000 to an estimated 165,000 in 2023. Of course, an increase in general population numbers and enhanced medical care resulting in people living longer are both significant contributory factors, although these alone do not explain the rise. The same study predicts that by 2033 there will be over 200,000 cases of cancer diagnosed in Australia. The study also explains that men are more susceptible to being diagnosed with cancer, with prostate cancer the biggest threat. Around 70 men are diagnosed each day with prostate cancer and more than 10 Australian men will die each day from the disease, according to a study undertaken in August 2023 by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, explaining “25,487 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023 [and] 3,743 Australian men will die from prostate cancer” in the same year. Breast cancer is the biggest cancer threat to women in Australia, with data from Breast Cancer Network Australia revealing that 20,458 women were predicted to receive a diagnosis in 2023, effectively equating to 57 cases each day and a total of 3,255 female lives lost last year to the disease. Whatever the form of cancer, it can often go undetected for significant periods of time, something once again illustrated in Kate Middleton’s case. While nothing was stated officially, it seems safe to assume that there was no indication of cancer prior to Kate’s routine abdominal surgery, another reason why the diagnosis was arguably all the more shocking in its impact. Her case, albeit high-profile, is sadly very common and therefore serves as a telling reminder for us all to undergo regular health checks, as detecting and dealing with anything sooner rather than later is much more likely to yield a positive outcome. Resources for cancer In this day and age, there is a wide range of resources one can turn to and numerous awareness days specific to each form of cancer; Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, and Movember are just a few examples. Cancer is very real and very scary and will affect all of us directly or indirectly throughout the course of our lives. It affects the average Joe in the street and it affects Royalty. As expert medical professionals and researchers continually drive to find finite cures for all forms of cancer, we must in the meantime collectively do our utmost to raise awareness and offer support when and where we can.❋ Join Port AdVenture Cruises in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on 12th May on the Hastings River to help raise money for the Cancer Council. • Venture Minerals Limited (ASX:VMS) is bringing value to stakeholders with successful exploration results

✦ The latest East Coast Research Report for Venture Minerals is looking positive, highlighting the successful REE exploration results of their projects. The report states that Venture Minerals has a valuation range of A$0.027–0.031 per share, demonstrating the successful exploration results on REE based on several of Venture's projects. Read the full report below. Brief overview of Venture Minerals' projects Venture Minerals (ASX: VMS) is focused on the development of the Mount Lindsay Tin-Tungsten Project in northwest Tasmania, one of the largest Tin-Tungsten deposits in the world. Venture’s Riley Iron Ore Mine in Tasmania is also being maintained in a restart ready condition, for when iron ore prices become consistently economic. In addition, the company is looking to potentially define maiden, high grade and large REE resources at its Brothers Clay Hosted REE Project in WA in the short term. It will potentially make significant enhancements to the company’s valuation. A maiden drilling program at Brothers REE Project returned very positive results. Venture is also exploring copper, nickel and PGE resources through a JV with Chalice Mining in Venture’s “Julimar lookalike” South West Project in WA. Mount Lindsay Project With the recognition of tin as a fundamental metal to the EV revolution and Tungsten being a critical mineral, Venture has commenced an underground Feasibility Study on Mount Lindsay that will leverage off the previously open-pit feasibility work completed in 2012. Mount Lindsay Project has excellent access to existing infrastructure, including hydropower, wind power, water, sealed roads, rail tracks and port facilities. Mt Lindsay is located in the heart of the northwest mining district with no restrictions on mining activity, other than standard environmental and planning approval processes required for any development in Tasmania. Mount Lindsay Underground study work has identified the potential for additional, large-scale quantities of tin and boron throughout the greater Mount Lindsay skarn system. The tin-boron zones are in the form of borate minerals and have not previously been assessed in any mining studies at Mount Lindsay. Venture believes the inclusion of tin-rich borates into the current underground feasibility studies could deliver a major economic benefit to the study, through the recovery of boron and additional tin and iron. Brothers REE Project In early November 2023, Venture announced the identification of a new large REE target named the “Jupiter Prospect” within its Brothers project area. The target was identified by a coincident gravity and magnetic anomaly extending over 40 square kilometres, which hosted extensive REE- rich clays. Previous RC holes and the AC holes at the Jupiter Prospect had also intersected very high REE grades. Encouraged by these strong results, Venture soon commenced a follow-up RC drilling program at Jupiter. Pleasingly, Venture’s initial RC program at Jupiter delivered high-grade clay-hosted REE mineralisation in all 25 holes. REE grades of as high as over 7,000ppm were included in the intersections. The drill results showed consistent, 20-30 metres width of REE mineralisation grading over 2,000ppm TREO within broader zones of up to 64m grading over 1,000ppm TREO. The assay results also reported an extremely low presence of the penalty elements of Thorium and Uranium. Given the average REE grade of well over 1,500ppm TREO from the first RC drilling program at Jupiter and the massive size of the prospect, Venture expects the ongoing resource definition drilling program at Jupiter to potentially lead to a definition of maiden high- grade clay hosted REE resources at the Brothers REE Project in the short term. This will potentially make significant enhancements to the company’s valuation. Commodities with increasing demand Venture is also targeting iron ore, REEs and green energy metals of nickel and copper at its various exploration projects in Tasmania and Western Australia, all of which are experiencing soaring demand by the ongoing fifth commodity Supercycle that started in 2021, which is expected to last for the next 15 to 20 years and is driven by the renewable energy transition and electrification mega-trend. Population growth, rising living standards and infrastructure required for decarbonisation are all expected to drive demand for steel and non-ferrous metals for decades to come. Demand for REE is set to remain high long term The global demand for REEs is projected to grow by a CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) of 10% to 2028 largely due to its application in producing high-strength permanent magnets used in the electric vehicles’ engines and wind turbines. Venture’s REE projects in Western Australia cover large areas in a tier 1 mining jurisdiction with very high grade REE results reported from drillings at the Brothers REE Project and rock chip samples at the Vulcan prospect so far. Moreover, the company is on its way to a maiden, high grade clay hosted REE resource estimate at Brothers. In the meantime, the market and investors’ desire for REE resources is set to remain high for a long time. Venture Minerals' strengths Venture Minerals offers a unique opportunity to invest in highly lucrative Tungsten and Tin space. Tungsten, due to its usability in defence products and a fast-depleting stockpile globally, has become a highly sought-after critical resource. Also, as the REE metal markets tighten up on the supply side, the capital markets are expected to recognise the dearth of independent companies with excellent projects, thereby supporting VMS’s valuation. There’s also potentially significant value in Venture’s various projects in Western Australia targeting green energy metals of copper and nickel as well as other in-demand minerals of zinc, lead, silver and gold. Mount Lindsay Tin-Tungsten Project in northwest Tasmania is one of the largest undeveloped Tin-Tungsten deposits in the world. High-quality mineral resource base at the Mt Lindsay project with 73% of the resource in the Measured and Indicated category. Mount Lindsay Project has excellent access to existing infrastructure, including hydropower, wind power, water, sealed roads, rail tracks and port facilities. Running multiple exploration projects with high prospects in tier 1 mining jurisdictions targeting a range of commodities with soaring demand by the ongoing decarbonisation megatrend. Highly experienced leadership team in place. Venture Minerals is increasing shareholder value The announcement of potentially large and high-grade clay hosted REE resources at the Brothers REE Project will enhance the valuation of VMS significantly. An announcement on an offtake agreement will increase confidence in the Mt. Lindsay Tin-Tungsten project. An announcement on the economics of Mt. Lindsay will be a major step towards the commercialisation of the mine and will increase investors’ confidence in the company. Any increase in tin and tungsten prices will have a direct impact on the expected cash flows of Mt. Lindsay and its expected return profile. A jump in iron ore prices will support the restart of the Riley Iron Ore Mine, and VMS will get the much-needed cash flows. Further underground mining and mine design improvement initiatives will enhance the expected profitability from Mt. Lindsay and shareholder returns. An increase in Venture’s defined tin-tungsten and iron ore resources in further studies will expand the commercial viability of Venture’s projects, thereby enhancing the company’s valuation. An announcement of potentially positive metallurgical test works at Mount Lindsay demonstrating successful extraction of tin, boron and iron from the company’s tin-iron borates. Read more about Venture Minerals on our Brilliant Investments.❋ About Venture Minerals Limited Venture Minerals Ltd (ASX: VMS) has made a recent discovery at the Brothers REE Project including the Jupiter Clay Hosted Rare Earths Prospect. • Enjoy a koala experience like no other this June long weekend

✦ Don’t miss this rare opportunity to explore the Maria River Koala Tree Plantation as part of the Hastings Farm Gate Tour. Did you know, koalas in our region mostly eat from just 10 species of Eucalyptus trees – and that one koala can eat up to a kilogram of leaves in a 24-hour period? If you are visiting Port Macquarie, don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn more about Australia's most well-loved icon and the initiatives that are carried out to keep them safe and thriving. Make your trip to Port Macquarie one to remember this June long weekend by going on a guided tour of the Maria River Koala Tree Plantation operated by Koala Conservation Australia (KCA). The site will be one of 20 featured in the Hastings Farm Gate Tour, providing a behind-the-scenes peek at some incredible community conservation work to save koalas. Louise Hoade, local Koala Officer at KCA, said the Hastings Farm Gate Tour is a fantastic way to learn about koalas, and how to protect koala habitat to ensure they survive and thrive into the future. “Maria River plantation has 11,000 koala food trees, while the rest of the 102-hectare property has coastal native habitat partly protected in perpetuity by a Biodiversity Conservation Agreement. It sits next to Maria National Park,” Ms Hoade said. “The property was acquired in 2014 to provide for the rescue and rehabilitation efforts of the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.” "In addition, Koala Conservation Australia has given 160,000 koala food trees to landholders over the past six years. This fosters valuable local corridors and helps to re-establish vital habitat for our wildlife.” The Maria River Koala Tree Plantation is one of two host sites featuring koala conservation in this year’s Hastings Farm Gate Tour. The self-drive tour is held over the June long weekend, celebrating our regenerative farmers and land custodians of the Greater Port Macquarie, Hastings and Camden Haven areas. This new partnership between Koala Conservation Australia, the NSW Government’s Koala Program and Hastings Farm Gate Tour, which is run by local not-for-profit Earth Logic, gives even more variety to the Farm Gate Tour experience. President of Earth Logic, Jacqui Murray, said they have six new host sites in 2024, including both urban gardens and rural properties. “We are lucky to be featuring two beautiful koala conservation properties thanks to the partnership with Koala Conservation Australia, some wonderful private permaculture gardens, as well as our local farmers showcasing sustainable food production and of course some animal petting opportunities. “There is just so much to see and do, and something for everyone.” Over the three days 20 innovative farms and permaculture gardens will open their gates, giving the community the opportunity to see what they are producing, sample some locally grown food, learn about their regenerative and conservation practices and have some fun. The event is family-friendly, so buy a ticket, pack a picnic and explore our region and all that it has on offer. Bringing an esky is also a great idea as some host sites sell their produce or offer opportunities to pick some produce. Each property offers a different experience but walking shoes are a must with some farm tours involving walking over paddocks and uneven terrain. “Last year around 1000 people participated in the Hastings Farm Gate experience. It is truly a unique opportunity for urban dwellers to experience first-hand how healthy food is produced and for landowners to learn about ecologically sound farm or land use practices.” The Hastings Farm Gate Tour is on the long weekend June 8 to 10 and is sponsored in 2024 by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and the NSW Government. The NSW Government delivered $5000 in funding in December last year towards this event which will educate the community about koala conservation and specifically about conservation initiatives that can be adopted on rural properties. Tickets are available early May, but you can register your interest at the below link so that you can be notified first when tickets go on sale.❋ Contact Hastings Farm Gate Tour Visit to learn more and find a list of some of their farms and permaculture gardens. facebook.com/HastingsFarmGateTour instagram.com/hastingsfarmgatetour/ Hastings Farm Gate Tour - YouTube Brilliant-Online Magazine: where intelligence finds its voice Welcome to Brilliant Online Magazine, the digital publication where intellect meets inspiration delivering thought-provoking content to readers of the gig economy. • Health and Safety in action: trends and concerns in 2024

✦ World Day for Safety and Health at Work falls on 28th April, where we reflect on the evolving landscape of workplace safety and concerns. As technology continues to advance, work environments shift and we continue to face global challenges, businesses also have to adapt to new paradigms to ensure the wellbeing of their employees. Technology for safety Technology can be used to enhance safety protocols. Whether it's AI-powered safety monitoring systems or wearable devices tracking vital signs and environmental hazards, businesses are leveraging cutting-edge technology to identify and mitigate risks. An example is using drones for safety inspections in hazardous environments. Drones equipped with thermal imaging or light detecting and ranging can spot electrical faults or equipment that is overheating on a building site. Drones are now our 'first responders' for security and spotting hazards, leading to a more rapid response to react to the risk. Learn about how Paul Witney of Creative Drone Services combines high end technology with intuitive natural creativity via drone photography to save animals, buildings and assets here. Mental Health and Wellbeing Supporting employees' mental health continues to be a key concern for companies. From mindfulness programmes, counselling services to fostering a new culture of open communication, companies are changing the benefits they offer to employees in order to more accurately address stress, burnout and other mental health issues that arise as a result of the pressures of modern work life. See life coach Bernie Ginnane's tips on Mental Health Tools to thrive in the ever evolving workplace here. At TG's Child Care, mental health and wellbeing is not only for everyone, it also starts young. Children learn mindfulness techniques and are encouraged and supported to talk about feelings, thanks to a lovely visit from Healthy Harold, the friendly giraffe. Educators are also well taken care of, from having a Mental Health Workplaces Toolkit with guidance material and practical resources to TG's Family First philosophy ensuring Educators have a balanced work and family life, TG's Educators appreciate these initiatives and is a contributing factor to many staying for more than ten years at TG's. Organisations worldwide are now tasked with providing ergonomic support for home offices, addressing cybersecurity risks associated with remote work, and promoting work-life balance to prevent employee isolation and burnout. Read about what companies in Singapore are doing to manage hybrid work for employees. Digital wellness is an area that is increasingly important to empower employees with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate virtual work environments safely. Learn more in our blog on Business Trends 2024. Climate Change Globally we are seeing more and more cases of extreme weather events, rising temperatures and environmental hazards. Businesses have to contend with new occupational safety challenges as a result, and this could range from heat stress prevention measures for outdoor workers to resilience plans and crisis communication measures to mitigate the impact of disasters. Summers in Spain can get really hot and affects workers' productivity levels. It is common for companies to implement a 'jornada intensiva' or a summer timetable where employees do not have the typical lunch break and instead, finish work at 3pm. Spaniards appreciate this timetable not just because it helps to break the lethargy of the heat, but also because it allows them more time with their children who are off for the summer break. The different looks of workplace health and safety With such a diversity of industries and services, workplace health and safety can look very different from business to another. Eye injuries Those who work with machinery or manufacturing are at risk of eye injuries such as having foreign bodies embedded in the eye, chemical eye injuries or welder's flash. Panoptic Vision is helping to care for workers in hazardous environments by fitting prescription and non-prescription safety glasses with a variety of frames and high-impact polycarbonate lenses and coatings. Protection from machines Machinery-related injuries can hurt a business not just due to downtime, but also with painful lawsuits and costly compensations. Workers can be caught in the moving parts of a machine or hit by ejected parts. In the manufacturing sector, machines are the leading cause of workplace injuries. Abstract Plastics helps companies by providing machine guarding applications to protect workers using the machines. Safety for all, even trees Accomplished Tree Management knows all about safety for everyone, from their arborists to the clients and even their trees and property. Arborists have a risky job and they undergo a multi-disciplinary training with the Australian Qualifications Framework and require a Certificate III in Arboriculture if their job includes tree climbing activities. They have regular training throughout their career. Accomplished Tree Management is QTRA accredited, which means they are able to help quantify risk for home owners as well as companies to assess tree hazards and removals. On World Day for Safety and Health at Work, it is important for businesses and employees to stay abreast of emerging trends and concerns.
